So like about a month ago we started this podcast named Serial and it really happened, the murder of Hae Min Lee and the suspects are Adnan Syed and Jay, so investigator Sarah Keonig re-opened the case because it happened in 1999 and wow a new trial for Adnan Syed was announced a few days ago.

Today I was wowed... A magician came to our school and everything he did was real. First he turned cloth into birds, then he turned the birds into A PUPPY! then he cut himself in half and moved across the table it was amazing. Then he stuck a sword through my teacher's throat! We were scared for her, I asked her how she felt and she said she felt nothing but at first she did. And then for the last one he put a girl on a table then a cloth to cover her, then removed the table and her head was leaning on one chair and her body was LITERALLY floating. It was a great experience, I couldn't believe it. Now were on spring break. Every time before a big break we do really cool things.
Today we went to the Holocaust museum. We learned a lot of things, on thing that we\as special to me was an actual survivor had came to our tour and told us his story. And it was really touching to see how life actually was by actual experience and he sad we should pass it down because we are the last generation to see actual survivors.
At our school we have these little white tabs in every classroom. They are used so we can slide our doors open and closed without having to go outside and lock them because if a real shoot out is happening all you have to do is remove the tab because the classrooms are always locked. And so during lunch my teacher isn't in her classroom so she removes the tab, and 3 times in a row I've been locked out. The first time she kept telling me to turn the knob and i was turning it was just locked. And the same exact thing happened to me in math class.
Today my favorite teacher had to leave... She was a substitute for Mrs. Vula. She was a fun and understanding teacher. She would know when you should stop and get to work. I’m gonna miss her.
Today was very weird, I've been having this weird loose thing in my mouth for weeks, and it got a lot more lose and I accidentally pulled it out, and it was a tooth, it was very small and in the back of my mouth. It felt very weird with no tooth back there.
When I was about 6 we lived in a home back when my mom and dad were still together. And late late at night me and my sister woke up and we went downstairs for milk and suddenly we heard an obvious voice calling my name constantly and we both hurried back upstairs into our rooms. At the time my sister was about 18 or 19, she's 26 now.
Today was the last day of Parcc, finally and it was the hardest I believe. I answered most of the questions but some questions I still havent learned,I tried my hardest and I probably got a good school overall
When i was 8 or 7 I was burned really bad. I was with my sister and we were doing normal things thinking the heater was off I sat on it and now I have a burn mark close to my armpit
Today I learned how to make pancakes, I taught myself how. And I made it extraordinary. So what I did was make a B. E. S. C Pancake, a bacon egg sausage cheese pancake it was very good. So what I first did was chop up the bacon and sausage into little pieces and cooked them. After that I made the pancake mix and put cheese in it. Next what i did was crack the eggs onto the pan. After that i placed the pancake batter over the eggs and places the bacon and sausage on top to soak into the pancake, then I proceeded. It was my first time and it was better than my dads' cooking. I made like three of them and he was surprised at how I made breakfast. I even surprised myself, this is why I want to take culinary classes in 10th grade.
Things I never did: I don't know how to ride a bike, scooter, or skateboard. I don't know how to swim, I've never been on a roller coaster, I've never been to Starbucks, I've never been to Olive Garden. I've never experienced life fully. But one day I'll do all of these thing especially Starbucks.
Today is the day before going back to school, so what I do (Which is Bad) is delay my homework until the last hour before I fall asleep and I do it at night where I'm at peace and nothing can bother me or distract me, well of course other than sleep. But I always end up fine, I know I need to stop, but I always end up fine. Sometimes I just want to quit at night and do it in the mornings but I plow through it and do it.
This book is called Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon. This book is about a girl named Madison Whittier. The problem is that she's been sick her entire life, so sick to the point where if she goes outside, she could possibly die. Her mother found out after her father and brother died in a car crash. A truck drive fell asleep on the wheel because of an extra shift. And Madison would do the same routine over and over again until one day. New neighbors had moved in, and when they did she saw a boy named Olly, she looked at him and he looked back at her. So what she would do is find out each persons schedule and basically stalk them. And this new neighbor changed her life, encouraged her to take risks, let her find out the truth about her sickness, let her feel actual love. Madison Whittier wonders everyday what it's like to be outside. But she can never get that feeling, What if you've never been outside? How would you feel everyday? Today it was my grandmother's birthday, she turned 80! I was so excited for her, my dad gave her 80$ since she was 80. But as usual, every holiday or every special day we must have rolls and a special fruit punch and its sooooo good. Then we had cake, honestly, it was the best cake I have ever had.
Today was my best friend's birthday. She finally turned 14 like me! I really wish I could've gotten her a present but I wasn't able to because I didn't have money at the time. But what our excel does is for the birthday people, we have this special wizard hat it's funny to wear and its very long. I was excited for her birthday because one of my other best friends' are going to give her 2 puppies!! Wow, I don't have a dog but I want one, but our house is too small.
Today is Pie Day and in math class we had so much junk food. And we had Parcc and an assembly that day. So each class was 30 minutes each which was very rewarding. Then we had this little rally #What'syour17 and we made a heart then a 17 inside of it. It's about the Florida school shooting and wanting to make a difference or a change in gun violence and gun laws. We should prevent any automatic weapons from being bought. They should be absolutely Illegal. And one of my teachers used to go to that school and her friend had got shot saving a child and died in the hospital. We were in her class mourning over the dead teachers and students.
Friday was a very weird day... First of all 2 couples I never thought would break up, broke up. They dated for about a year then the boy broke up for another girl which is trash. Then the other couple broke up for no reason maybe they were tired of each other I don’t know. Then someone got together, I wasn’t even expecting it to happen. My two best friends it was weird because we were all walking and they told me this other girl to walk forward and then, the boy was telling her how he liked her n’ stuff. And later on they were snap chatting awkwardly and she had asked him out. Then 2 days later he told me that they were together. I just had a feeling I didn’t know it was actually true. I was very confused that day.
Today it was my friends' birthday and she had a bday party i couldnt go to. So she brought me 3 cupcakes and a cake. i know its supposed to be the other way around. But out of all i only had 1 cupcake. She stole one and gave one to another. I'm still grateful though
I had moved into Berwyn in 4th grade and came to this school. I made a lot of friends there but then a week later... they moved me to another school closer to my house. I was bummed out, but i ended up making even more friends. Then in 5th grade the same exact thing happened to me but this time I stayed at the school for 1 day.
Today I've decided to rearrange my room. I had gotten tired of the way it looked, it was boring. So what i did was remove all my furniture from my room. Then sweeped and cleaned up. And I did it while my dad was at work and i feel proud of myself as he was too. It took me about 3 hours to finish. Then after my back was hurting so I took a walk to the store. I was finally changed for once in a while.
There was this one time in 3rd grade. I had just walked into the lunchroom and this kid walked in too and he went over to the other side of the table. and out of nowhere people start arguing and a bunch of kids come and kick the kid in the corner that i wasn't apart of i'm too innocent. But then I had ran out the lunchroom but i had forgot my bookbag and the kid was talking to the principal and the kid pointed at me when I didn't do anything and i got in school suspension. And I had to explain to my mom what happened because I really didn't do anything and I started crying. But I regret even till today that I shouldn't have forgotten my bookbag
Today in social studies class we had to present. The project was about different races of immigrants. Asians, Italians, Polish, Russians, and Irish immigrants. We had the Irish immigrants, and we were saying we should go first and everything but I was trying to add something to the slides and the teacher had asked who wanted to go first and my partners raised their hands and instantly my stomach started to hurt. I’m not usually nervous but when I got up there I was holding my bag the whole time and I had to read first. But overall and after I was fine because we got our presentation done and over with.
On my birthday (Jan. 31st) my friend Olivia was going to get me 2 cookies from a mystery store for my birthday. But what she didn’t know is that I was walking home that day, and she’s like you can come with me to get them. And I thought they were by her house but we were looking at it the whole time. When I went in I looked around and started asking for prices which were EXTREMELY cheap. And 7/11 2as right next to us a donut was 2$ there but here was 1$ and now whenever I want goodies I go there
Me and my other friends were making a group chat, and we have this friend Angelica, someone was trying to add her and we were texting and she texted me “why are you guys texting my stepdad” and we were all laughing and then like a week later we did the same to her mom
It was the worst day of my life, the last day of 4th grade. We were at Enchanted castles for a field trip, and I had a best friend named Lucas we’d call ourselves Lucas George. It all ended that day. When i found him saying his best friend was my... BULLY! And he left me to go hang with him and I started to cry because he betrayed me. And on the way to the bus he says why are you mad at me? And he told me what happened. So later when we all left I was on the playground and I saw my bully walk past me and I wanted jump down and start beating him up but I’m too nice..
My favorite teacher came back in after having a baby everyone started crowding and hugging her we missed her so much and we thought she’d come after spring break we were all surprised
It was the 1st day of 4th grade, my dad thought I was old enough to walk home myself which I was because home was close. So after the first day of school I had started to walk, and walk, and walk about 15 minutes later I was confused and my dad called me asking where I was. I said I mightve walked the wrong way and on this weird street name. And like 5 minutes before this old lady came out of her house and asked if I lived around there I said yes but I really didn’t. So I walked my way back to school where my dad picked me up and I laughed.
I barely go to parties but when my close friends invite me I go, but this party was strange and I didn’t know it was a birthday party for my friend’s sister and there was like 15 children. I was surprised because I love children but was nervous until friends came because I was the first one there. And I had texted my friend who hates babies and I gave her a heads up as me and my other friend was laughing because we knew she didn’t like them so it was fun.
A long long time ago, my family and I drove to Tennessee from Chicago. As we were going to our house we had to drive up a cliff and I was afraid of heights at the time and we got higher so I was very nervous. We had got out the car where the house was I had almost cried and was holding on the the car walking slowly to the house. It was a funny experience because I had looked down and realized how far up we really were and I ran into the house.
