The Perfect Christmas

I go over to my grandmothers house, lit decorations, great food. Games for us as a family to play, laughter, no argueing. Smelling the freshly baked cookies, cake, banana pudding. Watching the football/basketball game. And when it’s time for opening presents by the lit Christmas tree. Me getting lots of presents and games for Christmas, also money as a bonus. The smiles on everyone’s faces when they open up their presents. After presents we go around gloating about what we got and them getting jealous. At the end of it all, going to visit my mom for Christmas break and also getting presents over there, lots of fun and laughter over there too. And my mom is a great cook too, so i’d want some of her Christmas dinner. Then after I eat i’d get to play all the games I got for Christmas with my brother and my sister, more laughter. Then we’d all stop playing at 1 or 2 pm because when I’m over there we always stay up late having fun on breaks. Then i’d set my bed down from the wall, make my covers, i’d Stay up to watch psych. To be honest, I probably wouldn’t be able to go to sleep because of how much fun I’d be having. But then eventually i’d slowly fall asleep.....

March 31st, 2018 Final Blog

In school one day I was sitting in class and all we heard in class was “Let go of her hair let go!” And we all ran outside and saw two girls fighting. One girl was standing up for her friend who recently moved to Florida but her friend got tired of the girl talking about her and the fighter’s friend was very shy so she stood up for her. And I felt proud of her because she wasn’t a bystander she was an upstander and even though it was a fight, it was for a purpose.

Independence

Independent I want to be more independent for my New Years resolution, because it’s hard for me to say no to someone or hard to be myself around other people. And it helps me find the real me and who I want to be instead of following what others do. This word connects to my life by helping me understand that, people can’t take control over you if you don’t let them. And it teaches my not to be as gullible and I become more bold and straight forward. This word means everything to me, it will help me get through in life and help me to find out what 8 want to be when I grow up. My first step to live this word is, whenever someone asks me to do something I don’t wanna do I’m gonna say no and that’s it, no excuses just no. Because if I continue letting people control me I won’t be able to do anything by myself.
