This book is called “Solo” by Kwame Alexander with Mary Rand Hess. This book talks about how this boy named Blade Morrison, it was a family of rockstars. His father Rutherford was a drug addict, his little sister was storm. As the story continues he and his girlfriend have a problem, Chapel’s parents don’t like Blade because he is apart of the Morrison Family, but in actuality he’s not like his father. The book will show you what it means as the story progresses. My favorite part is when Blade finally stands up to Chapel’s parents and confesses how much he loves her. This part truly shows that he’ll do anything to stay with Chapel. Another part is Blade’s mother had died when he was at a very young age which is devastating, and all of a sudden his whole life he’s been having these dreams about a black widow.
